How to Save the Summer Tan

I love how a nice tan looks, but not the skin damage that comes along with it. I’ve always been good about applying SPF (a big thanks to my mom). I am in no way encouraging tanning for hours, but inevitably most get a little colour over the summer time and on vacations. I figured out some ways to get the most out of my tan and to stretch it out as long as possible. Keep reading to find out…

Review: Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer

When I ran out of primer the other day, I decided that I wanted to try out a new product and so I headed out to Sephora. As per usual, the girls working there were great and recommended to me the Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Hydrating Primer.

June Favs

Hope all my fellow Canadians had a fantastic Canada Day!
This month not only flew by, but was filled with some pretty exciting things. My best friend came to visit me for a weekend, I spent an entire week out of town for a course, passed my full driver’s license, had an awesome father's day and celebrated my 19th. This meant my first legal drink (*cheers!). And to add to it all, the weather where I live has been gorgeous. So, most of my favourites for this month involve surviving the heat.

DIY Decor: Gold Coffee Beans and Spring Flowers

I am not sure about you guys, but I am beyond excited that the weather has started to warm up! The blossoms are coming out everywhere I look, and so I thought I would bring that inside with this easy diy decor project. I however, don't have the best luck when it comes to keeping real flowers alive and so I purchased fake flowers from my local craft store. I am really happy about how realistic they look and am even excited about switching them out from season to season.

Coachella Fashion Inspired

During this time of year Coachella is everywhere on social media. And although I am not there, I was feeling a little inspired by the fashion and put this together. I am so in love with a few of these pieces, that they have definitely made it on to my wish list for summer. Enjoy :)

Spring 2015 Polish Picks

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter weekend. Now that it is officially spring I'm going to share with you all my favourite spring nail polish. Spring nails for me means time for more colours (especially pastels!) after a long winter.

At Home Gel Polish

I love a good manicure, but that can get pretty expensive quickly. That is why I purchased my gel kit. However, after trying a few different brands, I have found my favourites to use. The kit I purchased was originally the Orly Smart Gels, so I still use the remover, cleanser, nail tip primer, LED light and the cuticle oil (not pictured) in that brand. The base coat is ASP 'Step 3 Base Coat' and the top coat is from Gelaze. Today I'm using the Sephora by OPI gelshine gel polish in 'seeing pink elephants'.

Five February Favourites

With February over, I thought I'd share with you my five beauty favourites from February.
